Sarah Birmingham, a Shareholder in the firm, joined the Curtis Legal Group in 2004. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Political Science (1996) and J.D. (2001) from Santa Clara University, and has been a member of the Bar since 2001.

Attorney Birmingham’s practice at the firm emphasizes family law, including custody, child and spousal support, division of assets and debts, restraining orders, guardianships, step-parent adoptions, registered domestic partnerships, legal separations and annulments.  Ms. Birmingham provides compassionate and aggressive representation to clients in all aspects of family law proceedings from negotiating settlements to trial.

Ms. Birmingham has a longtime interest in community involvement. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Center for Human Services since 2004, most recently serving as the Board's President from 2008 to 2010, and has been a member of the board of that organization since 2004. She is also a member of the Modesto chapter of Soroptomist International and served as secretary of that organization from 2008 to 2010.

Attorney Birmingham is admitted to practice before all the courts of the state of California and the United States District Court, Eastern Districts of California. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar's Family Law Section, the Stanislaus County Bar Association and Stanislaus County Family Law Bar Association.

Ms. Birmingham spends her free time listening to music, reading books, running and traveling.
