Andrew S. Mendlin joined Curtis Legal Group in 1996 and serves as a director and shareholder of the firm. Mr. Mendlin graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 1988 and received his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1995.

He practices personal injury, real estate and business/commercial litigation throughout Northern California. Mr. Mendlin regularly handles large-value personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, recreational sports injuries and premises liability actions. As a former insurance claims adjuster, he also handles insurance coverage disputes against insurance carriers.

Mr. Mendlin's real estate practice focuses on real estate contract disputes, foreclosure litigation, real estate and mortgage fraud as well as land use entitlement procedures.

His business practice covers a wide variety of business litigation wherein he regularly handles corporate shareholder and partnership disputes, commercial creditor litigation, fraud and contract actions as well as business collection matters.

Mr. Mendlin vigorously advocates for his clients and works diligently to meet his clients' goals, and he has successfully negotiated and tried cases before juries and judges.

In 2001, Mr. Mendlin served as co-counsel on the Chandra Levy investigation, a case of national interest, where he worked with counsel in Washington D.C.

Since 2001, he has served as panel counsel for FOX News Channel and has appeared on CNN. Mr. Mendlin also hosted a legal news program for Clear Channel Radio between 2004-2007.

Mr. Mendlin also works as an active community leader. In 2006, he was named as an outstanding leader in Stanislaus County. He is a founding member of the Wray Ladine American Inn of Court. He has also served as chair of the Planning Commission, City of Modesto, as well as the Board of Zoning Adjustment and Modesto Downtown Improvement District. He was also president of the Modesto East Rotary Club and remains a member of the Modesto East Rotary board.

Mr. Mendlin reguarly provides seminars on personal injury and real estate matters to the San Joaquin County Bar Association and other organizations.

Mr. Mendlin is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, American Association of Justice, State Bar of California, Sacramento County Bar Association, San Joaquin County Bar Association and the Stanislaus County Bar Association.
