Legal Seminars for Employers
As a part of our proactive work in the area of employment law, the Curtis Legal Group conducts seminars for employers on employment law and compliance issues. We advertise these to clients, but, at the same time, are open to your needs and will develop classes that fit the questions that arise in your business on a day-to-day basis.
These classes are designed for Designed for office managers, human resource generalists, other HR staff, CPA's and controllers, as well as attorneys. Our seminars can help avoid costly litigation, as well as decreasing the general confusion that can often accompany the fact the HR departments have hundreds of laws and regulations to comply with.
We also develop and provide the compliance training your business requires.
From simple questions like, "What can and can't I ask during job interviews?", to complex questions about discrimination, termination, taxation, and all aspects of California and federal employment law, we can design a seminar that fits you needs.
California law AB1825 requires that all California employers of 50 or more employees (even if they don't have 50 employees in California) provide supervisors and managers with two hours of training on how to prevent sexual harassment. Curtis Legal Group can conduct this training for you.
Contact the Employment & Labor Law Group of the Curtis Legal Group to see how we can help you keep informed and up-to-date on all of the laws and regulations that affect your business.
